Giving Tuesday – Consider Supporting CODNL with a Donation this year

What is Giving Tuesday all about?

Giving Tuesday is a day when charities, business and individuals come together to celebrate giving.  It falls on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017. CODNL is excited to be part of Giving Tuesday again this year. Your donation will help advance and enable to work we do on behalf of persons with disabilities in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Check out our Giving Tuesday charity profile on the national website for this year’s celebration of charitable giving: http://givingtuesday.ca/partners/coalition-of-persons-with-disabilities-nl

What would we do with funds raised on Giving Tuesday?

The Coalition of Persons with Disabilities – NL, through the generous support of Giving Tuesday donors, will use funds raised to continue to act as a catalyst, bringing together various organizations of, and for, persons with disabilities and connecting them with government and other non-government agencies to address issues of mutual concern. COD-NL works with individuals and representatives of organizations to address policy and program issues around education, training, employment, poverty reduction, labour market strategies, social and economic development, human rights, accessibility, accommodation, income support, and home support services. COD-NL also works with federal and provincial government departments in consultation and advocacy capacities.

How to Donate to the Coalition on Giving Tuesday:

You can make your Giving Tuesday donation to CODNL in two ways:

  1. On the Giving Tuesday website, where CODNL is listed, or
  2. Via our Canada Helps “Make a Donation” page

Thank you for Giving!
